NEWS: Northeast Delta Dental Shamrock Shuffle
Union Leader Story: The third annual Shamrock Shuffle two-miler had a husband and wife theme to it Sunday.
Former St. Anselm College cross-country runner Kara (Molloy) Haas, her husband, Mike, along with Jen Mortimer of New London and Manchester’s Christine and Philip Shaw were all in the spotlight in Manchester.
Kara Haas was the top women’s finisher in 11:00.34 in the two-mile race in Manchester. Haas who lives in Chelmsford, Mass., with her husband, Mike, who placed 10th overall in the men’s field with an 11:21.51.
The men’s overall winner was Philip Shaw of Manchester in 9:39.40 and his wife, Christine, placed second overall in the women’s field in 11:16.34.
Adding to the fun was Mortimer, who finished third in the women’s field in 11:22.22. She is the wife of John Mortimer, owner of Millennium Running…
