Samuel Fazioli
Samuel Fazioli of Salem, NH has been named the Athlete of the Month for April 2018. This title is not always dedicated to those at the front of the pack, but Samuel’s fantastic performance at the 2018 Boston Marathon earns him this month’s honors! Samuel was the first New Hampshire finisher at the 122nd running of this prestigious event, and his time of 2:38:33 was good for 116th overall…that’s 6:03 pace!
What made Samuel’s performance even more impressive were the tough conditions he had to endure on his way to the finish line. Heavy rains, chilly temperatures, and a brutal headwind made the 26.2-mile race feel even longer! We congratulate Samuel on his fantastic performance and look forward to seeing what his future holds for the marathon! May his next marathon be under sunnier skies!
