Millennium Running Racing Team:

Millennium Running supports athletes of all levels from beginners to our sponsored racing team.   Our athletes have represented our running club all over of the regional and Country at great events like the Elliot Millennium Series, USATF-New England Grand Prix, NH Grand Prix, The Boston Marathon, Mt. Washington Road Race, and the 2016 Olympic Trials!

Featured Athletes

Laura Hagley (Athlete, Physical Therapist)

Personal Bests:  5k: 17:33, 10k: 35:09, Half Marathon: 1:15:51, Marathon: 2:39:55

Running Accomplishments: Laura qualified for the 2016 Olympic Marathon Trials finishing 11th female overall in the California International Marathon in December 2014; third place individual finisher in the USATF-NE Grand Prix; runner up at the New Bedford Half Marathon with a PR of 1:15:51.

Other: Laura’s Doctorate degree at MGH Institute of Health Professions, Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science, and her own experience with unique nutritional needs have all helped her to achieve Olympic Trials Qualifying time. Laura is the Director of Rehabilitation Services and Physical Therapist at Valley Regional Hospital. She specializes in the treatment of runners and video gait analysis.  She is married to Greg Hagley, also a member of the Millennium Running team.

Christine Shaw (Athlete, Physical Therapist, Coach)

Personal Bests:  1 Mile: 4:54, 5k: 16:36, 10 Mile: 59:33, Marathon: 2:42:2

Accomplishments: Christine qualified for the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials by running a 2:42:21 at the California International Marathon.  She was the 2014 Myrtle Beach Marathon champion.  While at Boston University, Christine was a 2-time America East Conference individual champion (5k, 10k); while at Fitchburg High School, New England champion and 2x Massachusetts state champion (2 mile run).

Other: Head Coach, Manchester Central Girls XC & Track. Christine also practices as a physical therapist at Apple Therapy and lives with her husband, Phil who is also a member of the racing team.

Alex Leuchanka:

Lucas Pozzetta (Triathlete)

Personal Best: Sprint Tri:  , Olympic Tri:  , Half Tri: , 5k:

Accomplishments: Lucas earned is USA Triathlon Pro Card in 2016 after going undefeated in triathlons in New England in 2015.   Lucas finished 3rd overall in the open age Group Nationals at the 2015 USAT Age Group National Championships.  In 2014, Lucas was named NH Male Triathlete of the year by the Manchester Union Leader.

Other:  Lucas works as Millennium Running’s Manager of Retail

Tammie Robie (Masters Athlete)

Personal Best: 5k: 17:03, 5-Miles: 28:40, 10k: 36:12, 10 miles: 59:42, Half Marathon: 1:18:43, Marathon: 2:49:32

Running Accomplishments: One of New England’s most talented and accomplished Master’s athletes.   As an open athlete, Tammie was the 2006 USATF-NE Grand Prix Champion.    Tammie is a graduate of UMASS-Lowell where she was ECAC Champion at 1500 meters and 3000 meters.

Other: Tammie is a middle school teacher who lives in Milford with her husband and two children.

Jennifer Mortimer (Club Founder, Coach, Athlete):

Personal Bests: Mile: 4:45, 3k: 9:25, 5k: 15.47, Half Marathon: 1:20:24

Running Accomplishment: Finished 2nd in the USATF-NE Grand Prix series in 2014, created the Millennium Running racing team in the fall of 2013, 2004 Olympic Trials qualifier and participant in the 5000m in 15:47, two-time NCAA All-American at Boston College in cross country and track and field.

Other: Club leader for Millennium Running Club; works as Director of Client Relations & Human Resources at Millennium Running and lives with husband John and two young sons, Jack and Liam.

John Mortimer:   John has spent the last 20 years in the sport of running.  Prior to the founding Millennium Running, he spent 10 years as a college coach (University of Kentucky, Boston College, and Harvard), 6 years as a professional runner (Adidas and Reebok), an All American in collegiate athlete (University of Michigan) and a 12-time high school state champion (Londonderry HS)
