New Course in 2021

The out & back course on the Derry & Windham Rail Trail will be 1 loop for the half marathon and 2 loops for the marathon.  This flat and fast course will be the perfect opportunity to run a PR!

EARLY BIB PICK-UP
Available from 10:00am to 6:00pm on Saturday, April 10th at the Millennium Running Retail Store (138 Bedord Center Rd., Bedford, NH)

RACE DAY BIB PICK-UP
Available starting at 6:45am at the registration tents located adjacent to the start/finish line in downtown Derry, NH.  (1 E. Broadway, Derry, NH). All participants will be provided a suggested bib pickup time corresponding with their personal start time.


START / FINISH LOCATION
Derry Rail Trail (1 East Broadway, Derry, NH 03110)

PARKING
Limited parking is available in downtown Derry in municipal parking lots and street parking. [Parking Map]

SHUTTLE BUSES
Remote parking with shuttle buses service to/from the Start/Finish is available from the Park n Ride (2 Garden Ln., Londonderry, NH) at Exit 4 of I-93. Buses will start at 7:45am and run continuously on the 9 minute trip.


HEALTH & SAFETY
The health and safety of our participants, volunteers, and staff is the most important aspect of our events. Our team at Millennium Running helped spearhead the implementation of guidelines published by Governor Sununu’s Task Force for road races in the State of NH. Millennium Running will continue to ensure all safety procedures at our events are followed to protect our running community.

MASK / FACE COVERING REQUIREMENTS
In accordance with NH Governor Sununu’s Emergency Order 63 Pursuant Executive Order 2020-04 and Extend by Order 2020-05 to 2020-16, face coverings will be required for this event during the following circumstances or when physical distancing cannot be maintained.

• Check-in / Registration Area
• Staging Zone
• Corral Zone
• Post Race Area

Face coverings are NOT REQUIRED while participating (running or walking on the course), in the Start Zone, and warming up or cooling down when physical distancing can be maintained.  (CLICK HERE for an info graphic of the zones)

START LINE PROCEDURES
This event will utilize “time trial start” format that will facilitate “social distancing” for the entirety of the event. Participants will be seeded based off their self-submitted paces and will be sorted by pace from fastest to slowest. Two people will start every 10 seconds.

Participants will be assigned a dedicated start time along with specific times for parking, check-in time and report to corral time.

SPECTATORS
All spectators are required to abide by social distancing guidelines and avoid congregating at the start/finish line areas.


GEAR CHECK
Simply check your bag in the gear drop-off tent near the registration/post race area and pick it up after you finish. A gear check label will be attached to your bib to fill out and then attach to your bag.

AID STATIONS
Aid stations on route will be located approximately every 2 miles, and all will have Gatorade and Water available. Port-O-Johns will also be located at each aid station.

POST-RACE REFRESHMENTS
Dasani water and Powerade provided by Coca Cola Northern New England, fresh bananas, Yogurt provided by Stonyfield Organic.

ATHLETE TRACKING
 Follow your favorite athletes live! You can track competing athletes by using the Millennium Running App. You will be able to see their progress as they navigate the course and cross over various timing spots.

RESULTS
All results will be displayed at the Millennium Timing Trailer adjacent to the finish line.  Live online results will be published exclusively on MillenniumRunning.com. If you opt into receiving text results, you will get a text with your finisher time and a link to the full results page.

RACE PHOTOS
Millennium Running is happy to provide FREE digital race photos from this event. Photos will be posted online 2-3 business days following the event.

FINISHER VIDEO
Finishers of the event will receive a link to their finisher video. The link will be emailed online 1-2 business days following the event.

FINISHER AWARDS
Each finisher will receive a ribbon… That is right a ribbon!  After all, it’s the CHEAP Marathon / Half Marathon!

AWARDS
Overall Awards are given to the top 3 men and women in each race.  Age Group awards will be given to the top 3 male and female in each 5-yr age group. (19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34 … 80+). Awards will be given to the top three in the half and full relays; in the male, female and co-ed divisions. Stop by the Awards Tent following the race to claim your award.

HOW DO I SUBMIT MY RESULTS?
It’s easy! On race week, we will be sending you a unique link via email to your RunReg entry that will allow you to submit your race results. Results must be submitted by 11:59pm EDT on Sunday, April 11.


RESULTS
Official Results will be published exclusively on millenniumrunning.com on Monday, April 12. You have until 11:59pm on Sunday, April 12 to submit your time using the unique link provided in your confirmation email.


RACE PHOTOS
Be your own photographer! Take a selfie using our new app and we’ll provide you with a link to the official race photos.  We also you invite you to share your experience on Facebook and Instagram tagging @millenniumrunning and using the #millenniumrunning hashtag


AWARDS
Everyone wins their own virtual race!  As such, there will be no recognition of race times.


What about the Elliot Millennium Series and Delta Dental Points Chase?
Virtual registrants will earn miles towards the Elliot Millennium Series Jacket! However, no points will be assigned for the Delta Dental Points Chase.
