Five Beautiful Courses

All of our courses start and finish in Coachman Park with spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico and Downtown Clearwater.

Marathon

This course starts at Coachman Park and heads west over the Clearwater Memorial Bridge, through Sand Key Park, down Gulf Blvd, turning around after mile 7, heading back over the Clearwater Memorial Bridge, then turns south through Clearwater down to the Belleair Causeway, and then north on Gulf Blvd for the journey back to Coachman Park.

50k (Ultra)

This course starts at Coachman Park and heads west over the Clearwater Memorial Bridge, through Sand Key Park, down Gulf Blvd, turning around after mile 7, heading back over the Clearwater Memorial Bridge, then turns south through Clearwater, heading down and back up the Pinellas Trail, before heading down to the Belleair Causeway, and then north on Gulf Blvd for the journey back to Coachman Park.

Half-Marathon

This course starts at Coachman Park and heads west over the Clearwater Memorial Bridge, through Sand Key Park, down Gulf Blvd, turning around after mile 7, heading back over the Clearwater Memorial Bridge for the journey back to Coachman Park.

5 MILER

This course starts at Coachman Park down Drew Street, south on Osceola to Court Street, west over the Clearwater Memorial Bridge, then onto Island Way to a turnaround at Palm Island SE for the journey back to Coachman Park.

This course starts at Coachman Park down Drew Street, south on Osceola to Court Street, west over the Clearwater Memorial Bridge, then turning around on the bridge for the journey back to Coachman Park.

ONLINE REGISTRATION
Online registration will close at noon on Saturday, January 30th.  You can still register for the Ultra, Marathon or Relays at early bib pickup on Saturday, January 30, @ Coachman Park TIME TBA or on Sunday at Coachman Park beginning at 5:45am and up to 15 minutes prior to the start of the respective distance.

RESULTS provided by Cici’s of Clearwater
All results will be displayed live at the Millennium Running timing tent adjacent to the finish line. Live online results will be published exclusively on MillenniumRunning.com. All finishers will receive email and text (if opted in) results as well.

ATHLETE TRACKING
Athletes may be followed on the results page as results will be updated in live time. Timing segments will be collected at each relay exchange zone (3 times throughout the Marathon and Ultra) and updated in live time. Individual athletes may be “favorited” on the results page so their progress may be followed as they progress through the event.

Millennium Running is happy to provide FREE digital race photos from this event thanks to our friends at Visit St. Pete/Clearwater. Photos will be posted online 3-5 business days following the event.

RACE VIDEO
Finishers of the event will receive a link to their finisher video.

FINISHER MEDALS
Large colorful commemorative medals will be awarded to all finishers.   Medals differ in size based on distance.   Special medal provided to those that complete the 5k on Saturday and any distance or relay on Sunday – limited spaces available.

OVERALL & AGE GROUP AWARDS
 Top 3 male and female overall as well as top 3 male and female in each 5-yr age group (19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34 … 80+) in each race will receive $50 certificates for Brooks Shoes (Adrenaline or Ghost) 

AWARDS CEREMONIES (SUNDAY)
for top 3 overall male and female finishers in each distance (age group awards can be picked up at the Awards tent)
9:30am: 5 Miler Award Ceremony
10:20am: Half Marathon Award Ceremony
12:00pm: Marathon Award Ceremony
1:00pm: Ultra Award Ceremony

POST RACE:
Enjoy free food – including pasta and desserts from Cicis, pizza from American Flatbread, samples from Ekoa and Mo Bruschetta Please, water, fruit, and Sam Adams beer, listen to music and celebrate your accomplishment in Coachman Park after the race.

MASSAGE: 
Free massage will be available on-site after the races thanks to our friends from Soothing Oak Massage & Wellness Studios.

AID STATIONS:
Located approximately every 1.5 to 2.5 miles for all the distances, there are 14 Aid Stations in the Marathon, 18 in the Ultra, 7 in the Half, 2 in the 5 Miler, and 1 in the 5k.

-17.3 mi (Belleair Bridge)
-20.4 mi (Bay Park)
-21.7 mi, (Sand Key Park Entrance)
-24 mi (Clearwater Marina)
All aid Stations will include water, Gatorade (except the first station), and port-o-johns/toilets. Clif Energy Shots will be available at the Bay Park aid station at miles 7.3 and 20.4.

BATHROOMS:
There are numerous public restrooms and port-o-johns located along the course – each aid station (see above for locations) will have access to a port-o-john or restroom. Ample facilities will be provided near the Start/Finish line in Coachman Park as well.

RELAY INFO: Running is better with friends!   Enjoy the 2 person Half Marathon Relay or the 4 person Marathon Relay which run the same courses as their respective distances.   Leg distances are:
– Leg 1 = 7.6 miles
– Leg 2 = 5.3 miles
– Leg 3 = 7.8 miles
– Leg 4 = 5.5 miles

Exchange Zone #1 is at Mile 7.6 at Bay Park on Gulf Blvd. Exchange Zone #2 is at mile 12.9 at the head of the Clearwater Memorial Bridge near the double helix, and Exchange Zone #3 is at mile 20.7 back at Bay Park on Gulf Blvd.   Each relay team will have the same number and will be issued 1 velcro ankle strip with a timing chip embedded that needs to be passed to their teammate at the respective Exchange Zones.  Two Jolly Trollies will be providing continuous service  to/from Bay Park for Relay Exchanges 1 & 3; however, teams are welcome to transport themselves via their own cars. Exchange 2 at the double helix path is within walking distance of Coachman Park.

TIME LIMITS:
There are no time limits on the 5k, 5 Miler, or Half Marathon.   Marathoners have a 7 hour 30 minute time limit (17:10 per mile) and Ultra Marathons must reach the 15 mile mark by 3 hours and 40 minutes in order to complete the additional out & back for the Ultra.
