Position: Sales Associate for Retail

Job Description:  This is a part-time or full-time position which supports management while helping each and every customer have a positive and educational experience in the store.   Candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate with customers.  Experience in retail is preferred and interest or experience in road races, running and/or fitness related activities a plus.  Responsibilities will include:

• Consistently creates a welcoming environment for the customer by greeting and assisting; as well as quickly responding to customer inquiries and needs.
• Takes part in daily and weekly training sessions.
• Cross sells products in order to fully educate the customer.
• Helps maintain the sales floor and stockroom as to create a successful environment for everyone on the team.
• Performs all duties as directed by management.
• Is an enthusiastic brand ambassador.
• Handles all forms of payment and is responsible for register transactions.

Pay Range: Commensurate with experience,

Hours:  The ideal candidate would be able to work weekends as well as afternoon-evening shifts during the week.   This position could be full-time or part-time depending on availability. (10 hours – 40 hours per week), weekdays, evenings, and weekend shifts available.
