The Manchester Marathon, powered by SNHU, offers the options of a 4-person full marathon relay and a 2 person half marathon relay. Marathon leg distances are 4.5 miles, 8.6 miles, 6.5 miles and 6.6 miles.  The half marathon leg distances are 4.5 miles and 8.6 miles. The marathon relay will follow the marathon course, the half marathon relay will follow the half marathon course.

FULL MARATHON RELAY

ONLINE REGISTRATIONOpen. Limited to 125 relay teams.

• Full Relay Early Registration: $150 (until April 1st, 11:59pm)
• Full Relay Regular Registration: $175 (April 2 – September 1st, 11:59pm)
• Full Relay Late Registration: $200 (after September 1st)

Full Marathon Relay teams must consist of 4 team members. There is no ‘Youth’ or ‘Kids’ price tier for this event.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION • Based upon availability. Limited to 125 relay teams.

• Full Relay Registration: $220

HALF MARATHON RELAY

ONLINE REGISTRATION • Open. Limited to the first 125 relay teams.

• Half Relay Early Registration: $95 (until April 1st, 11:59pm)
• Half Relay Regular Registration: $110 (April 2 – September 1st, 11:59pm)
• Half Relay Late Registration: $125 (after September 1st)

Half Marathon Relay teams must consist of 2 team members. There is no ‘Youth’ or ‘Kids’ price tier for this event.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION • Based upon availability. Limited to 125 relay teams.

• Half Relay Registration: $120

Half Marathon Relay teams must consist of 3 team members. There is no ‘Youth’ or ‘Kids’ price tier for this event.

 

Relay Teams Limit: The relay is limited to the first 125 registered teams. Registration will close once the 125-team limit is reached, this number is a cumulative number of teams in both the full and half-marathon distances.

Relay Teams Registration: Teams must register online at the link above. Team Captains must be designated. The captain is in charge of registering the entire team and picking up race packets for their relay teams. Captains are also responsible for providing signed parent/guardian consent forms for any team members under the age of 18.

Relay Teams Award Categories: Awards will be given to the top three in the half and full relays; in the male, female and co-ed divisions.

Relay Team Medals: All medals will be distributed in the finish line area to the finishing member of your relay team.

Relay Team Timing Information: Relay teams must exchange the MyLaps timing chip with the next runner in the transition area. All relay runners must wear the timing chip on their ankle with bib worn on the front of your body.

Relay Team Transition: Relay splits are as follows: Leg 1 – 4.5 Miles (Half & Full), Leg 2 – 8.6 Miles (Half & Full), Leg 3 – 6.5 Miles (Full), Leg 4 – 6.6 Miles (Full).

Relay Exchange Zones: Relay exchange zone 1 will be across from the start/finish line on Elm Street – Relay exchange zone 2 will be at the intersection of Lowell and Elm Street on Elm St – Relay exchange zone 3 will be at the UNH Co-operative parking lot between the Goffstown Rail Trail and Mast Rd (shuttle provided).

Relay Transportation: Relax exchange zones 1 and 2 are within walking distance of the Start/Finish area. Relay exchange zone 3 will have a shuttle running from the intersection of Franklin St and W. Merrimack St. (behind Portland Pie) to the exchange zone and back ONLY for relay runners.

Millennium Marathon, complete 26.2 cumulative miles
Ultra, complete 40 cumulative miles
All-Millennium Team, complete every Millennium Signature Event *Manchester City Marathon, powered by SNHU, is a chance to gain additional mileage, but won’t count against All-Millennium qualification*
