Millennium Running Announces Prize Money for St. Joseph Healthcare Ribfest 5 Miler
Over 2,000 of the area’s top runners and USA Track & Field-New England teams will compete for a total prize purse of $5,200 in the 3rd annual St. Joseph Healthcare Ribfest 5 Miler on Sunday, June 15, 2014 in Merrimack, NH. The 5-mile race will attract dozens of club teams from all over New England, as the fourth event in the USATF-NE Grand Prix Series. Additionally, this race is the fourth event in The Elliot Millennium Running Series.
“Being a part of the USA Track & Field – New England Grand Prix and hosting the region’s finest athletes is an honor and privilege,” stated Millennium Running owner & founder John Mortimer. “It is also a great opportunity to showcase one of Millennium Running’s signature events to athletes outside of our traditional market.“
The men’s and women’s champions each will earn $400 for first place, $200 to the runners up and $100 going to third-place finishers. The full prize money structure is as follows:
