10 Miler Course
The 10 Miler course is a picturesque route around Manchester’s Massabesic Lake. The course is highlighted by a lake front finish and many lake views along the course. The 2-person relay has an exchange zone at the 5 mile mark.
Course Time Limit: 3-1/2 Hours from individual start time.
Start Time: 7:00am – 9:30am in a time trial start format adhering to social distancing guidelines.
* In 2020, the course will be run in the reverse direction from previous years with modifications to include a separate start & finish line to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
RACE DATE & TIME: Saturday, August 28, 2020 starting from 7:00am to 9:30am.
EARLY BIB PICK-UP: Available at the Millennium Running Retail Store (138 Bedford Center Road, Bedford, NH) during the following times:
• Friday, August 27 – 10:00am-7:00pm
RACE DAY BIB PICK-UP: Available beginning at 6am at Race Day HQ located at the Massabesic Lake Parking Lot, in Manchester, NH.
DIRECTIONS: The common start/finish line is conveniently located at the Massabesic Lake Parking Lot (1 Londonderry Turnpike, Manchester, NH) near Exit 1 off of Route 101.

HEALTH & SAFETY
The health and safety of our participants, volunteers, and staff is the most important aspect of our events. Our team at Millennium Running helped spearhead the implementation of guidelines published by Governor Sununu’s Task Force for road races in the State of NH. Millennium Running will continue to ensure all safety procedures at our events are followed to protect our running community.
MASK / FACE COVERING REQUIREMENTS
In accordance with NH Governor Sununu’s Emergency Order 63 Pursuant Executive Order 2020-04 and Extend by Order 2020-05 to 2020-16, face coverings will be required for this event during the following circumstances or when physical distancing cannot be maintained.

Face coverings are NOT REQUIRED while participating (running or walking on the course), in the Start Zone, and warming up or cooling down when physical distancing can be maintained. (CLICK HERE for an info graphic of the zones)
START LINE PROCEDURES
This event will utilize “time trial start” format that will facilitate “social distancing” for the entirety of the event. Participants will be seeded based off their self-submitted paces. Athletes will start one-by-one in a time-trial format, 10 seconds after one another. Participants will be assigned a dedicated start time along with specific times for parking, check-in time and report to corral time.
Estimated Start Times (based on pace / seed times)
• 7:00am-7:30am: 8:30 pace/mile pace or faster (1:25:00 finisher time or faster)
• 7:30am-8:00am: 8:31 pace/mile – 9:37 pace/mile (1:25:00 – 1:36:00 finisher time)
• 8:00am-8:30am: 9:38 pace/mile – 10:31 pace/mile (1:36:00 – 1:45:00 finisher time)
• 8:30am-9:00am: 10:32 pace/mile – 11:49 pace/mile (1:45:00 – 1:58:00 finisher time)
• 9:00am-9:30am: 11:50 pace/mile+ (1:58:00+ finisher time)

All spectators are required to abide by social distancing guidelines and avoid congregating at the start/finish line areas.
Water stops will be located on the course at approximately the 2 mile, 5 mile and 8 mile marks. Powerade will also be available at the 5 mile and 8 mile marks. Each stop will contain individual miniature bottles for participants to drink. Trash cans will be located at the stops and at mile markers 3 through 9. Littering on course is not permitted.
No nutrition will be provided on course.
Course port-a-johns will be located at the start area, registration area, finish area, and the 5 mile exchange zone on course.
RESULTS: All results will be displayed live at the Millennium Running timing trailer adjacent to the finish line. Live online results will be published exclusively on MillenniumRunning.com.
TEXT RESULTS: If you opt into receiving text results, you will get a text with your finisher time and a link to the full results page.

AGE-GROUP AWARDS: Digital awards will be emailed to the top 3 male and female in each 5-yr age group. (19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34 … 80+). Stop by the Awards Tent following the race to claim your award.
RELAY TEAM AWARDS: Awards will be given out to each winning relay team in the male, female and co-ed divisions.
FINISHER MEDALS: Allen Mello New Hampshire 10 Miler medals will be distributed at the finish line to all 10 milers and relay teams.
VIRTUAL OPTION: Virtual race participants will receive a NH 10 Miler medal, bib and t-shirt. (T-shirts are limited to the first 850 overall registrants.) Participants must submit their virtual results for miles to count toward an individual’s mileage completion of the Elliot Millennium Running Series. Registrants will be sent an email the week of the event with a unique link to submit their results.

HOW DO I SUBMIT MY RESULTS?
It’s easy! On Thursday, August 26 we will be sending you a unique link via email to your RunReg entry that will allow you to submit your race results. Results must be submitted by 11:59pm EDT on Sunday, August 29.
Official Results will be published exclusively on millenniumrunning.com on Monday, August 30. You have until 11:59pm on Sunday, August 30 to submit your time using the unique link provided in your results submission email.

Everyone wins their own virtual race! As such, there will be no recognition of race times.
What about the Elliot Millennium Series and Delta Dental Points Chase?
Virtual registrants will earn miles towards the Elliot Millennium Series Jacket! However, no points will be assigned for the Delta Dental Points Chase. Participants must submit their virtual results for miles to count toward an individual’s mileage completion of the Elliot Millennium Running Series. Registrants will be sent an email the week of the event with a unique link to submit their results.
