Get your Irish on and tackle the Golden Shamrock Challenge! Complete the Citizens Shamrock Half-Marathon (as an individual or on a relay team) and the Citizens Shamrock Shuffle and you’ll earn the coveted “Golden Shamrock” medal. *Relay team members need to register for each event separately.
*Golden Shamrocks will be distributed after the Shuffle at the results kiosk at Race Day HQ
Half Marathon & Relay Course
A one of a kind, multi-loop, spectator-friendly, 13.1 mile course in Downtown Manchester with cheer zones and relay exchange zones at the Wild Rover Irish Pub and Shaskeen Irish Pub.
Relay Course & Exchange Zones: The Half Marathon Relay will follow the same course as the individual Half Marathon. Leg 1 will start at Veteran’s Park and run 5.2 miles before handing off to leg 2 at the Shaskeen Irish Pub. Leg 2 will run 3.2 miles and hand off to leg 3 at the Wild Rover Pub. Leg 3 will run 4.7 miles and finish back at Veteran’s Park.

Available at all public Manchester City Parking locations. There is NO parking on Elm Street.
HEALTH & SAFETY
The health and safety of our participants, volunteers, and staff is the most important aspect of our events. Our team at Millennium Running helped spearhead the implementation of guidelines published by Governor Sununu’s Task Force for road races in the State of NH. Millennium Running will continue to ensure all safety procedures at our events are followed to protect our running community.
MASK / FACE COVERING REQUIREMENTS
In accordance with NH Governor Sununu’s Emergency Order 63 Pursuant Executive Order 2020-04 and Extend by Order 2020-05 to 2020-16, face coverings will be required for this event during the following circumstances or when physical distancing cannot be maintained.

Face coverings are NOT REQUIRED while participating (running or walking on the course), in the Start Zone, and warming up or cooling down when physical distancing can be maintained. (CLICK HERE for an info graphic of the zones)
START LINE PROCEDURES
This event will utilize “time trial start” format that will facilitate “social distancing” for the entirety of the event. Participants will be seeded based off their self-submitted paces and will be sorted by pace from fastest to slowest. Two people will start every 10 seconds.
Participants will be assigned a dedicated start time along with specific times for parking, check-in time and report to corral time.
Start times will be based on pace / seed times: Exact start times to be assigned/emailed with bib number assignment 2 days prior to the event.

All spectators are required to abide by social distancing guidelines and avoid congregating at the start/finish line areas.
Gear check will be available for all participants in the Registration area. Simply check your bag in the Gear Check tent inside Race Day HQ and pick it up after you finish.
AID STATIONS & RESTROOMS
Course aid stations will be available at miles 2.5, 5, 6.5, 8.5,and 10.5. All aid stations will have water and Gatorade available, UnTapped energy gels will be available at mile 8.5. Port-a-johns will be available at the start/finish line. Additional port-a-johns will be located on the course at each aid station and relay exchange zone.
The Elliot will have medical stations located throughout the course as well as a medical tent at the finish line.
RESULTS driven by AutoFair
All results will be displayed live at the Millennium Running timing trailer adjacent to the finish line. Live online results will be published exclusively on MillenniumRunning.com.

Millennium Running is happy to provide FREE digital race photos from this event thanks to our friends at Tufts Health Freedom Plan. Photos will be posted online 3-4 business days following the event.
Finishers of the event will receive a link to their finisher video 2-3 business days following the event.
OVERALL & AGE GROUP AWARDS
Awards will be given to the Top 3 Overall Men & Women, as well as the top 3 male and female in each 5-yr age group. (19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34 … 70+). Stop by the Awards Tent following the race to claim your award. Awards will not be mailed after the event.
Citizens Bank Shamrock Half Marathon & Relay medals will be distributed at the finish line to all half marathoners and relay teams. Those who complete the Citizens Bank Shamrock Half & Relay and the Citizens Bank Shamrock Shuffle the following day will receive “Golden Shamrock” medals on Sunday at the conclusion of the Shuffle at the registration kiosk.

VIRTUAL RACE DATE & TIMES
Race with us from where ever you are on whatever day & time that works for you between March 22 & 28.
BIBS, MEDALS & LONG SLEEVE T-SHIRTS
Long sleeve shirts are limited to first 1,250 registered in-person and virtual participants combined. Virtual participants that qualify for event give-a-ways, can choose to have them either mailed to them (which is part of the online registration process or part the transfer to virtual process) or pick them up at our Millennium Store during the scheduled Early Bib Pick Up times. Additionally, give-a-ways will be available in the Millennium Running Retail Store during normal business hours for 30 days following the event and while inventory is available.
* Shipments are mailed out approximately 3-4 days prior to the event day. Any subsequent virtual transfers or virtual registrants that process shipping will be mailed out the first business day following the event.
HOW DO I SUBMIT MY RESULTS?
It’s easy! On race week, we will be sending you a unique link via email to your RunReg entry that will allow you to submit your race results. Results must be submitted by 11:59pm EDT on Sunday, March 28.
Official Results will be published exclusively on millenniumrunning.com on Monday, March 29. You have until 11:59pm on Sunday, March 28 to submit your time using the unique link provided in your confirmation email.
Be your own photographer! Take a selfie using our new app and we’ll provide you with a link to the official race photos. We also invite you to share your experience on Facebook and Instagram tagging @millenniumrunning and using the #millenniumrunning hashtag
Everyone wins their own virtual race! As such, there will be no recognition of race times.

Millennium Running is proud to support the New Hampshire Food Bank as the official charity beneficiary of the Citizens Bank Shamrock Half-Marathon & Relay. The New Hampshire Food Bank, a program of Catholic Charities New Hampshire, serves as the only food bank in the state, working to provide nutritious food and resources to the hundreds of thousands of New Hampshire residents that are food insecure. The Food Bank supplies millions of pounds of food annually to more than 425 partner agencies, including food pantries, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, children’s programs, senior centers and more. In turn, these agencies provide hunger relief to those suffering from food insecurity throughout the state.
