Weather Statement: Fisher Cats Thanksgiving 5k

November 24, 2014 – 6:00pm

For Immediate release:

Millennium Running has been on close contact with the City of Manchester Police Department, Department of Transportation, and the NH Fisher Cats to monitor and plan for the upcoming winter storm forecast for Wednesday and Wednesday night.

At the current time, Millennium Running and the NH Fisher Cats are prepared for and are planning to hold the 4th annual Fisher Cats Thanksgiving 5k as scheduled on Thursday at 9am.   Any decision to postpone or delay the event is made with careful consideration for the safety of our participants.   Our team will make updates via our website, Facebook page, and emails to each participant.

However, due to the forecast on Wednesday, the Early Bib Pick Up will be moved up to TUESDAY, November 25th from 6pm to 8pm at the Executive Health & Sports Club.   Participants are permitted to pick up bibs and apparel for their friends and relatives also participating in the event.

After picking up on Tuesday, participants are invited to the Executive’s restaurant (formerly known as Sizzle) to redeem a complimentary beer ticket. An all-you-can-eat pasta buffet is also being offered by the Executive for $10 for adults and $5 for kids.
