AOTM-Athlete of the Month: Eric Marchesseault May 2013
The May 2013 Athlete of the Month is Eric Marchesseault.
His friend Todd writes:
Eric started running a few years ago. He reluctantly entered the sport because all his friends were runners, complaining that, that’s all we do is run. Slowly, but surely he started to embrace the sport, especially the long run. Since his first 5k in 2010 he has completed half marathons in Nashville, Atlantic City, Maine, and Detroit. He is currently signed up for a 10k in Washington DC, the cox 1/2 marathon in providence and is debating the Paris Marathon. He is a great example of someone who would never think of themselves as an athlete, but then realizes they are.
Eric has never viewed himself as a competitive runner, he likes to challenge himself but does not compete with his friends. He recently re did his living area and incorporated his numerous running medals and bibs. He is an active participant of the Millennium Running Social Club and has encouraged his nephews to take up the sport of running as well
