Athlete of the Month: May 2018
Bradley Ray St. Laurent
Bradley Ray St. Laurent of Auburn, NH has been named the Athlete of the Month for May 2018. Bradley Ray is one of New Hampshire’s most promising young runners. At only 14 years old, Bradley Ray became the overall winner at this year’s Members First Cinco de Miles 5k! His time of 17:24 was almost 3 minutes faster than his performance at the Ameriprise Financial Mardi Gras 5k. This statistic alone shows you how hard Bradley Ray has been training these last few months!
His performance on the roads is only part of the story! Bradley Ray is also the reigning New Hampshire Middle School Division I XC Champion. But don’t forget about his track performances either! Two days before his victory at Cinco, Bradley Ray became the first individual at Woodbury Middle School to break 5 minutes in the mile. He is also undefeated at home meets throughout his middle school career! Quite the impressive resume for such a young talent!
Next year, Bradley Ray will be taking his speed to Phillips Exeter Academy. We hope the best for Bradley Ray, and look forward to seeing what he can do at a few more Millennium Running races throughout the year. Will he hold onto his 0-19 points chase lead? If Bradley Ray stays healthy, it’s going to be tough to dethrone him! Good luck to you Bradley Ray, may your fastest times still be ahead of you!
