BREAKING NEWS: Manchester Mile & 5K Runs Rain or Shine
Our team at Millennium Running has been working with the City of Manchester and Police Department to closely monitor the inclement weather forecast for tonight.
Safely of participants, spectators, volunteers, and staff is always our first concern.
Our team will do everything possible to produce the Hinckley Allen Manchester Mile & 5k as scheduled, rain or shine! With a little luck and all the good karma from all of the runners, we are hopeful for a small window of time where we will get a break in the weather!!
However, should there be visible lightening or lightening storm cells at the time of the race, we will delay the start times in 30 minute increments until it is deemed safe. We will communicate any delays and updates via email, our Facebook and Twitter pages, and PA systems on site.
Unfortunately, there is no possible make-up date due to the limited availability of police detail over the holiday weekend.
Should you choose to not attend the event and wish to pick up your race apparel (hats and kids shirts), you may do so at our offices (68 Technology Dr., Bedford, NH) starting Monday July 7th (our office hours are M-F 9am-3pm)
While we realize the possibility of a delayed start may be inconvenient especially for those who have younger children running, please appreciate how seriously we take your safety.
