Corporate Team Captain Duties
1. You need to be motivating, fun, and enthusiastic in order to get your co-workers, friends and family to join the fight against cancer by fundraising for the Elliot Cancer Center.
2. You will be the primary contact for your company.
You will receive regular communication from Millennium Running to help motivate and organize your team.
3. Ensure that your company’s logo is properly submitted by the deadline. See more details submit HERE
4. Arrange to pick-up you company’s bib numbers and t-shirts, then distribute them to your team prior to the race.
- Early pick up is available at the Millennium Running Retail Store (138 Bedford Center Rd., Bedford, NH) on Wednesday, August 8th from 12pm-7pm
- Race day pick up is available at Veteran’s Park (700 Elm St., Manchester, NH) on Thursday, August 9th from 12pm-6pm.
5. Facilitate payment of entry fees for your corporate team. There are 3 options for payment…
- Company is invoiced and pays for employees via credit card
- Company is invoiced and pays for employees via check
- Employees pay for themselves at the time of registration
Rules
- The scoring Corporate Team Competition is not open to athletic clubs, social clubs or like organizations; however, they are welcome to participate in the event.
- Team members must be at least 16 years of age on race day and employed at the company since June 1st.
- Non-employees (family and friends) may participate on the team, but must be listed separately on the company team roster under “NON-TEAM MEMBERS.” Non-team members cannot score for the team.
- A “scoring team” must consist of at least five (5) employees; however, there is no minimum or maximum number of employees required to be on a team.
- Strollers are NOT RECOMMENDED. If participating with a stroller, you MUST start in the walker corral.
