CMC Athlete of the Month: July 2017
Lucas Pozzetta
Lucas Pozzetta of Merrimack, NH has been named the CMC Athlete of the Month for July. Displaying both great endurance and focus, Lucas completed his first Iron Man Triathlon in Lake Placid, NY on July 23rd. Finishing alone wasn’t enough for Lucas, as he took 6th place overall in a time of 9:02:55, averaging 7:07/mile for the marathon portion of the race! Although satisfied with his performance, Lucas still had work to take care of in defending his title as the reigning CTI Boston Triathlon champion. One week after finishing his first Iron Man Triathlon, Lucas took home the W in Boston, more than 30 seconds ahead of the second place finisher. Congratulations Lucas, we look forward to seeing you win more races in the near future!
Every month, we recognize and celebrate the achievements of a member of the community. An athlete, as nominated by their peers, will be chosen to be honored as the Catholic Medical Center Athlete of the Month.
