Millennium Running Announces 2021 as a Record Year of Charitable Giving

Bedford, NH – Millennium Running announced today the totals of the company’s charitable efforts for 2021.
As a small, family business, Millennium Running raised more money for local community organizations than ever this year,” stated Millennium Running owner & founder, John Mortimer. “We pride ourselves on producing first class events and advocating wellness, but most importantly, it’s our mission to give back to our community.”
58 different organizations received a total of $126,760 from the proceeds and fundraising of Millennium Running’s events in the 2021 calendar year.
The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester was named Millennium Running’s “Official Charity of 2021” and will receive $16,943.

“Mental health has never been more important than over the past year and a half.” Mortimer added. “We are so happy that our running community was able to support the mission of The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester.”
Past “Official Charities of the Year” for Millennium Running have included New Horizons, Veterans Count, and Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth. The 2022 Charity of the Year will be named on February 17, 2022, at the Millennium Running Gala.
Many of Millennium Running’s signature events had specific charitable partners that each received sizable funds. As the official charity for the Citizens Shamrock Half Marathon / Shuffle and the Fisher Cats Thanksgiving 5k, New Hampshire Food Bank received $12,682; as the official charity for the CMC Manchester City Marathon, Veterans Count received $11,446; and as the official charity for the BASC Santa Claus Shuffle, the Safe Sports Network received $6,199.
Millennium Running’s all-time charity distribution stands over 1.1 Million – $1,136,695.82 to be exact.
