Press Release – 2nd Annual Boot Scootin’ Boogie 5k returns on Saturday, July 23rd
July 13, 2016
For Immediate Release:
Millennium Running is pleased to announce that the 2nd Annual Boot Scootin’ Boogie 5k and Country Concert is set for Saturday, July 23rd.
Last year’s inaugural edition hosted over 1000 runners and concert goers to the Londonderry Athletic Fields complex. This year’s event is expected to be bigger and better, with the Taste of Nashville country concert tour returning, as well as other event favorites such as a mechanical bull, bonfire, food vendors, and beer from Sam Adams brewery.
The 3.1 mile race starts at 7:30pm with the start and finish line within the Londonderry Athletic Fields complex. Music starts with a pre-race concert at 6:30pm and the headlining act starting post-race at 7:45pm.
The 5k race has also been selected as the 5th race in the 2016 NH Grand Prix.
Produced by Millennium Running, the race will benefit these official charities: LHS Track Boosters, Cub Scouts Pack 127, LHS Class of 2018, New Horizon’s Shelter and Food Pantry, and the Bedford HS Hockey team.
Race registration and information about the country festival and concert can be found on the event website. All 5k registrants gain free entry into the country festival.
