Millennium Running Announces Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening for Bedford Headquarters and Retail Store

Millennium Running is hosting a Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening for its’ new Millennium Running Retail Store and Headquarters in Bedford NH on Sunday, March 13th at 1pm. The Ribbon Cutting is scheduled for 1pm and doors open to the public at 1:05pm.

Millennium Running is venturing into the world of “Running Specialty Retail” with a 2,500 sq/ft retail space at the new headquarters conveniently located on Rt-101 in Bedford, NH (138 Bedford Center Rd.). The newly renovated 8,400 sq/ft building will also be the new home for Millennium Running’s corporate offices and warehouse.

As a brand and company, we are looking forward to serving our community of runners, walkers and athletes beyond our road races with our new Running Specialty Store,” stated Millennium Running’s owner and founder, John Mortimer. “Providing a wide selection of footwear, apparel and accessories in a fun and welcoming environment is the mission for our new retail store.”

Millennium Running will be giving away $1,500 in Millennium Money to the first 100 customers in the doors. Each person will receive an envelope with a gift certificate ranging from $5 to $100.

John Mortimer

John Mortimer is the owner and founder of Millennium Running. His extensive running background began in Londonderry, NH where he was a 12-time NH high school state champion. His running career took him to the University of Michigan where he became a 7-time NCAA All American and was honored as a member of the U of M Hall of Fame. John ran professional runner for Adidas and Reebok, and represented the United States on two occasions as member of Team USA. Before moving back to his home state of New Hampshire to start Millennium Running, John spent 10 years as a college coach at Harvard, Boston College and the University of Kentucky. He currently lives in Bedford, NH with his wife Jennifer and two sons, Jack and Liam.
