In addition, a “Bib Number Look Up” tent is provided on-site to double check your bib number.

Can you pick up a Bib Number and Santa Suit for a friend or relative? Yes, but please bring something to lug all your schwag out of there if you are picking up for more than yourself.

Kids Elf Runs: These are kid fun runs that will be run as 6 separate races by gender and age: boy/girls, ages kids 4 and under (50 yards), 5-6 (150 yards), and 7-8 (500 yards). The first race will start at 2:30pm and continue for approximately 20 minutes. These races are not timed and each Elf gets a #1 Bib. Parents of kids 4 and under are welcome to run along side their elf for the 50-yard run. We ask parents of 5-6 and 7-8 year olds to let the kids run by themselves for the races that run between the start and finish lines on Elm St. We know parents want to get a photo of their child running, but we ask you to stand beyond the finish line and allow each child an opportunity to cross the line without a traffic jam. Please note, Millennium Running is providing free photos to download of all the races as well.

Santa Shuffle: The main event of over 3,000 Santas running or walking the 3-mile course that starts and finishes on Elm St at Veteran’s Park.

Course: The course is a 3-mile out and back course on Elm St. After the first 1/2-mile, there will be cones and big signs directing runners/walkers to KEEP RIGHT, so as to avoid a collision of the lead runners returning back on the other side of the street. Once on the right hand side, please remain on right side for the duration of the run.

Starting Corrals: There will be YELLOW SIGNS located in the starting area indicating Pace Per Mile. We ask participants to please line up near your appropriate pace: Under 7:00, 8;00-9:00, 9:00-10:00, 10:00-12:00, 12:00+, Walkers & Strollers. All walkers and strollers will be asked to start in the back. Please adhere to these starting areas as it makes the event safer and fairer for all participants.

Santa Suits:

  • The first 2,500 Adult Registrants (12 and older) will receive a full Santa Suit when you pick up your bib number. All adult bib numbers up to # 3,100 will have a tear off tag that says “Santa Suit.” You will exchange the tag for a suit at the “Santa Suit” tent / table at bib pick-up.
  • If you did not get a suit as one of the first 2,500 adults/3,100 bib numbers, we will be distributing the remaining, unclaimed Santa Suits on a first come-first serve basis at the Santa Suit Tent starting at 3pm on Race Day. (It is typical to have a 10% no-show rate so we are looking at an additional 300 suits to pass out for numbers above 3,100)
  • The Santa Suits are “one size fits most”, so we recommend picking it up on Friday to do any last minute tailoring to avoid wardrobe malfunctions!
  • If you are not planning on wearing the suit, we ask you to dress in red or some other Christmas costume… Elf, Mrs Claus, Sexy Bikini Santa, Speedo Santa, Reindeer, you name it!!!

Beer: All registrants (age 21+ only) will receive one (1) “Harpoon Beer” tear off tag on their bib number. You can redeem your ticket for a complimentary beer at any one of our participating bars in downtown Manchester after the race. Here is a list of all the bars: https://www.millenniumrunning.com/santa/santa-beer

Pre-Purchased Long Sleeve Tech Shirts: If you purchased a long sleeve tech shirt with your online registration, your bib number will have the shirt size noted on the registration label. You can pick up your pre-purchased shirts on Friday evening or on race day. There will be a very limited supply of shirt still available for purchase on site.

Kids Elf Shirts: The first 200 kids (11 and younger) to pick up their bib will receive a cotton youth sized shirt that says “Santa’s #1 Elf!” These kids shirts are distributed on a first come, first serve basis.

Race Day Registration: Registration will be available on-site at Veteran’s Park / Stanton Plaza on race day starting at 1:30pm. Additionally, you can register on-site at on Friday evening at the Shaskeen from 4pm to 7pm.

Parking: There is no parking on Elm St on Saturday. There are many lots and street packing in the downtown area. We encourage runners to find their way downtown early so as to find a good spot!

Timing: Each participant will have a bib number with a disposable timing chip adhered to it. The bib must be worn on the FRONT of your Santa Suit and not covered by clothing. Please do not bend or damage the timing chip. We will have a starting mat and a finish mat so your “net” time is recorded and will be your official finishing time.
